By combining technical expertise and pragmatic problem-solving, Völund Engineering can deliver projects and products to fit the customers need and according to specification.

Völund – the Blacksmith-God in Norse Tradition

Völund – also known as Volundr, Velent, or in Germanic tradition as Wayland – is one of the most fascinating figures in Norse mythology. He does not appear as a god on the same level as Odin or Thor, but rather as a mythical master blacksmith with near‑divine abilities.

The story of Völund weaves together skilled craftsmanship, revenge, loss, and magic, and has lived on through written sources, archaeology, and modern culture.

Völund is most often described as the blacksmith above all others – a supernatural craftsman who could forge weapons, jewelry, and objects of the highest quality. In Norse tradition, he represents:
